We will put you in direct contact with the boat captain to schedule the special day and time. On your scheduled day, you will simply meet him at the boat slip to begin your time on the water (varies by location). Due to the unpredictability of the weather and water conditions, please be advised that the date and time frame will need to be confirmed the day before the scheduled release. We appreciate your understanding, as the safety of our customers and crew is a top priority.

The ocean holds a special meaning for many people—for ardent fishermen, for those who may have spent a military career at sea, or even for those who simply treasured wonderful memories of beach vacations with family and friends.

About the Outer Banks

The Outer Banks is a 200-mile string of peninsulas and barrier islands that separates mainland North Carolina from the Atlantic Ocean. More than just a string of beach communities, it’s a region of rich history and culture. From the first English settlement in the New World, to the hideouts of Blackbeard the pirate, OBX has noteworthy roots. It can even boast as the birthplace of aviation, with the Wright Brothers first taking flight from the dunes of Kitty Hawk!

The Process

When you book this service, the process is simple.

We put you in touch with the boat captain for your boat. He’ll confirm the day and time for your scattering ceremony.
The day before, the captain will confirm that the weather is appropriate for the scattering journey.
On the day of your scattering, you will meet the captain at the boat slip. He’ll take you to the scattering location and assist you with the ceremony.

You can Rest Ashured knowing we’ll be there to help you memorialize your loved one every step of the way.
