“Together Forever” Attended Burial at Sea / Va. Beach

Whether a couple has ties to the military or just its beautiful vacation spot, Virginia Beach has a special meaning to many.  Friends and family can join in on an approximately 90-minute (round-trip) boat ride, where the ashes of the couple will be released together forever, three miles from the Virginia shore.

The Process

Larger families may prefer this location, as the boat at this site can accommodate up to 20 passengers (additional fees apply for each passenger above a total of 6).

• We will put you in direct contact with the boat captain to schedule your trip .
• On your scheduled evening, you will simply meet him at the boat slip to begin your time on the water. (Scatterings typically start after 5:00 pm, depending on the location.)
• Total time on the water is about 1.5 hours.
• Due to the unpredictability of the weather and water conditions, please be advised that conducive weather will need to be confirmed the day before the scheduled release. If weather is not conducive to a safe trip, the captain will call to inform you and reschedule for as soon as possible. We appreciate your understanding, as the safety of our customers and crew is a top priority.
