At Rest Ashured, we consider our pets to be family. We’ve built a separate Scattering Garden to memorialize the bond between pets and their people. You can Rest Ashured, knowing your pet’s ashes will be handled in a loving and dignified manner.
The Process
When you select this option, we’ll send you a package. It contains all the necessary packing materials including:
- Boxes
- Label
- Tape
- Simple Instructions
Then, you’ll ship the package back to us. You can simply drop it at your local post office.

We’ll scatter your pet’s ashes on our property overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia.
This unattended scattering lays your pet’s remains to rest with dignity and respect. Afterward, we’ll send you a Certificate of Release. This certificate records the date and exact location of your pet’s remains.
You’ll be able to visit your pet’s final resting place during our annual Days of Celebration. We hold two of these events each year in the spring and fall. This gives you a time to remember and celebrate the bond with your beloved pet.
We can’t remove the pain of your loss. But we can provide a beautiful place to memorialize your pet forever.
