Description
Your loved one’s ashes will be scattered with care on our private property at the base of a memorial shrub. From this location, you can see portions of the James River and hear the soothing nearby waterfall.
The Process
When you select our memorial shrub service, we’ll send you a package with all the necessary materials to ship your loved one’s remains. This package includes:
- Boxes
- Label
- Tape
- Simple Instructions
After you prepare your package, you can ship it from your local post office. We also offer personal pickup, where we can pick up the ashes in person for an additional fee (CLICK HERE to see details).
When we receive the ashes, we spread them with care on our beautiful property overlooking the Blue Ridge Mountains in Virginia. It will be scattered with the memorial shrub during the planting process.
Once this is complete, we send you a Certificate of Release recording the date and exact location of the scattering of your loved one’s remains.
You can visit their final resting place during our annual Days of Celebration. Twice a year, we open our property to visitors so they can remember and celebrate together.
